Ad Astra Consultant

Certified Ad Astra Instructor, with an in depth knowledge and experience in all modules of the Ad Astra system. Must have extensive experience working with scheduling systems and be able to work with users in conceptualizing ideas and have the ability to implement a system that meets the objectives of the user. Experience working with Ad Astra interface to PeopleSoft is mandatory.

Application Support Specialist

This specialist must have a minimum of three (3) years data processing experience. Specialist must have training and experience in high level languages such as, NATURAL, COBOL, Visual Basic and C++. A minimum of two (2) years current programming experience is required in the language. The Application Support Specialist will assist in the writing of programs for a variety of systems from small to large.

AVAYA tech cert. maint. tech

This specialist must have six (6) years experience, including work on AVAYA or AVAYA PBX systems of at least 1,000 stations. The specialist must provide proof of certification as an AVAYA or AVAYA Technologies Corporation Certified Maintenance Technician. Wiring experience must include 110 voice and data hardware. The wiring experience must include new construction and ‘add on’ work. Because of the complex nature of the projects, assignments for assistants will be made to the successful vendor in the Certified Technician category. The amount of project work varies during the year. Full Time commitment is not requested, but the District expects this project to have a high priority in the scheduling of a specific technicians time, with no greater than one day notice for problem resolution work.

AVAYA Tech Maint Tech Assist

This specialist works in conjunction with the Certified Maintenance Technician. The Certified Maintenance Technician holds responsibility for the quality and integrity of the work of the Technician Assistant. The Technician Assistant serves in an as needed capacity for complicated or lengthy wiring installations. Because of the complex nature of the projects, assignments for assistants will be made to the successful vendor in the Certified Technician category. Full Time commitment is not requested, but the District expects this project to have a high priority in the scheduling of a specific technicians time, with no greater than one day notice for problem resolution work.

AVAYA Technologies Software Specialist

This specialist must have at least three (3) years experience in the generation of complex AVAYA Definity G3 PBX software. Experience must include the initiation and modification of ARS, ACD, trunk management, vector programming and individual and tandem switch functions in a DCS network. Additional experience in the initiation and modification of ISDN BRI and PRI circuits may also be required for several projects. Additional experience in the initiation and modification of AVAYA Audix and Intuity voice mail product line may also be required.

AV-Multi Media Specialist

Specialist must have in depth experience in the installation, use and maintenance of Multi Media/AV hardware including projectors, document cameras and Extron control systems in a large network environment. Extron certification may be required depending upon project complexity.

Blackboard System Admin Tech Sup Specialist

General and specific back end support to MATC’s Learning Management Systems including, but not limited to Blackboard Community System. Ensure installation of the Blackboard application software and updates on Development, Test and Production servers. Develop testing protocols for product updates on Test servers and update all servers when testing is successfully completed. Perform Blackboard configuration as needed for optimization and proper operation. Third tier troubleshooting and resolution of Blackboard issues as reported to the Staff and Student Help Desks. Monitor various indicators for ensuring the continuous operation of Blackboard. Correct any issues with the Snapshot process and make manual corrections to the database. Develop and maintain JAVA code for customized Building Blocks. Contribute to Learning Management System and other learning software support website. Current knowledge of course management systems particularly Blackboard along with other instructional technology and alternate methods of course and program delivery. Develop and maintain PERL and JAVA code for the Snapshot process for automation in populating students and staff into courses and organizations. Knowledge of web development applications and web content management systems. Extensive knowledge and understanding of the technical aspects of operating system security and related application development activities.

Business Process Analyst

A Business Process Analyst will conduct interviews of business owners and end users to understand, document and prioritize business requirements. In addition, the business process analyst will develop complete and accurate business models the incorporate both process and data models.

Cisco Infrastructure Project Management Specialist

Specialists must have demonstrated in-depth experience managing large scale Cisco infrastructure projects and possess PMP certification.

Cisco Network Specialist

Specialist must have in depth experience in the design, installation, use and maintenance of Cisco routers, switches and related equipment in a large network environment. Specialist must have experience in the use of tools that diagnose the use and health of networks. Cisco certification may be required, depending on project complexity.

Cognos Application Consultant

Must be a certified Cognos instructor. Have in depth knowledge and experience in Cognos applications (Reportnet, Powerplay, DecisionStream), object deployment, metadata modeling, data relationships, report administration, OLAP modeling and web publishing and reporting.

Cognos Technical Consultant

Must be a certified Cognos consultant. Have in depth knowledge and experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting Cognos applications and in working with performance diagnostic tools, Content Store back up and recovery, server administration, security at all levels, authentication, web application server architecture and log analysis and maintenance. Must also have experience working with Windows 2000+ and Microsoft SQL Server.

Distance Ed. Video Conference Consultant Senior

Help Desk Consultant Senior

This consultant must have a minimum of ten (10) years experience in analyzing, designing, and implementing Help Desk systems. The consultant must have experience evaluating Help Desk operations and procedures for medium to large organizations. The consultant is expected to work at the project leader level with total responsibility for project success.

Imaging System Specialist

Provide imaging system consulting support for the District imaging system. Support will include, but not be limited to the creation of workflow systems setup, training and other customizations necessary to effectively integrate imaging into the office process.

Information Architect

Information Architect would be responsible for the analysis and design of the data stored by MATC Information Systems, concentrating on definitions, entities, their attributes and their interrelationships. The Information Architect would be involved in the modeling of data for an individual database and to the corporate databases. The individual would also be qualified to assist with integration technologies as data is passed between the systems of the MATC enterprise.

Information Systems Auditor

This specialist must have at least five (5) years experience auditing computer based internal systems to ensure the integrity of systems software, internal operating procedures, security and safe guarding of data files, etc.

Instructional Systems Consultant Associate Level

The consultant must have a minimum of five (5) years experience in higher education, analyzing, designing and implementing instructional computing systems. The consultant must have experience working with teachers, administrators, and information systems staff, demonstrated with documented successes. This specialist is expected to work under a project leader at an associate level.

Instructional Systems Consultant (Senior)

This consultant must have a minimum of ten (10) years experience in higher education analyzing, designing and implementing instructional computing systems. The consultant must have experience working with teachers, administrators, and information systems staff, demonstrated with documented success. Inventory Specialist Services

Provide inventory services including performing physical inventory of District hardware by electronically scanning District hardware barcodes and hardware manufacturer serial numbers. Inventory records are electronically stored and transmitted. Experience in performing inventory services using appropriate hardware and software tools.

IT Training-Access Developer

Experienced Access Developer who can assist customers in documenting requirements and developing applications and forms (with web interfaces). Assists also in creating reports and training the owner of the application to maintain the application. Experience in both development and training preferred.

Experienced Office Expert to teach generic and in-house classes in Office products, including Access and MS Project.

Specialist must have a minimum of three (3) years experience with the Macintosh computer operating system, with proficiency in version OS X and greater in a networked environment. The specialist will possess strong hardware troubleshooting and repair skills. This person will also have a demonstrated proficiency in several common applications including word processing, database management, spreadsheets, desktop publishing and multi-media.

Macintosh Training Specialist

Specialists must have three (3) years experience in one-on-one classroom based microcomputer training on common applications including word processing, database management, spreadsheets, desktop publishing, multi media as well as demonstrable operating system proficiency.

Micro Computer Hardware Specialist

Specialists must have demonstrated in-depth experience in troubleshooting and repairing a variety of Intel and compatible computer hardware and related peripherals. Experience in problem determination using appropriate software tools and operating systems software is required.

Microsoft Exchange Server Specialist

Specialists must have in-depth experience designing, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Microsoft Exchange based communications infrastructure. Specialists must also have current demonstrated expertise with current Exchanged based implementations related components. This specialist should possess a Microsoft MCSE certification, or equivalent demonstrated proficiency. Some projects may require Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist credentials for Exchange Server.

Microsoft Exchange Server Training Specialist

Specialist must be a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) with three (3) years experience in one on one or classroom based training for Microsoft Exchange products.

Microsoft Infrastructure Project Management Specialist

Multi Media AV Systems Designer Associate

This consultant must have a minimum of five (5) years experience in the Audio Visual field analyzing, designing and implementing multi media and AV systems. The consultant must have experience working with teachers, administrators and information staff, demonstrated with documented success. This consultant is expected to work under a project leader at an associate level.

Multi Media AV Systems Designer Senior

This consultant must have a minimum of ten (10) years experience in the Audio Visual field analyzing, designing and implementing multimedia and AV systems. Specialists must have in-depth experience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining networking hardware and software, along with demonstrated expertise in current Novell Suse Linux operating system software. This specialist should possess a Novell CLP certification, LAMP Certification or equivalent demonstrated efficiency.

Networking Operating Systems Specialist Microsoft Windows

Specialists must have in-depth experience designing, installing, troubleshooting and maintaining Microsoft based networks. Specialists must also have current demonstrated expertise with Windows Server systems and related components. This specialist should possess a Microsoft MCSE certification, or equivalent demonstrated proficiency. Some projects may require Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist credentials in the relevant area.

Networking Operating Systems Specialist Novell Netware

Specialists must have in-depth experience installing, troubleshooting and maintaining networking hardware and software, along with demonstrated expertise in current Novell operating system software. This specialist should possess a Novell CNE 6 certification, or equivalent demonstrated proficiency.

Novell Network Workstation Specialist

Specialists must have in-depth experience installing workstations in a current Novell operating system network environment. Specialist must have demonstrated expertise in installing, troubleshooting and maintaining network adaptors, Novell clients, and networked printer connections on workstations on a Novell Network. This specialist must be proficient in installing Microsoft Office Suites. This specialist will spend considerable time supporting the above on Windows 2000, Windows XP or Vista workstations.

Oracle Database Admin.

Database Administrator must have three (3) years current experience with Oracle RDBMS. The Database Administrator must be well versed in the tools of the specific database system.

PeopleSoft Applications Manager

This manager would head up the MATC Administrative Applications and Integration department and all associated applications including PeopleSoft (PS) Student Administration Systems, PS Human Resources Systems, PS Financial Systems, PS Portal Applications, reporting (Cognos and State Reporting) systems and ad hoc systems development for the web. The position provides the application and architectural expertise to direct technical team activities while serving as an actively engaged technical resource. Extensive hands on PS experience is essential. This position is responsible for the execution and completion of projects as well as the day to day system support for these business areas. Minimum three (3) years management experience and seven (7) years hands on PS Experience.

PeopleSoft Portal Project Leader

This position leads, directs and has expert hands on involvement in the development, implementation, maintenance and improvement of major and complex portal systems within MATC and the Southern Wisconsin Consortium (SWC). This position has responsibility for instructing, directing and checking of the work of junior staff. This position assists in the scheduling and assignment of personnel to projects. The Enterprise Portal Administrator will have responsibility for and provide high level technical hands on assistance in the implementation, maintenance and support of the Portals and lead projects related to Portal technical and application initiatives. The candidate will be an active technical participant in implementation and upgrade plans. This position also performs the work of a lead portal administrator. The candidate must be a proven team player with a minimum of eight (8) years of IT experience and five (5) years project leadership experience. Three of the eight (8) years must include extensive hands on experience with PeopleSoft applications including customizations, upgrades and implementations. The candidate must also have demonstrated experience with PS Enterprise Portal 8.x. Experience with other portals and portal upgrades is a plus.

PeopleSoft Troubleshooting Tech Consultant

This PeopleSoft troubleshooting consultant will work with teams and independently to assist in the troubleshooting of system issues, maintaining system functionality and in the development of new custom functions. These tasks will require strong PeopleSoft technical and analytical skills and good communication skills. The consultant will be required to work with all PeopleSoft Applications (SA, HR, Finance and to some extent with Portal).
