Registered Dietician - Madison, WI
Simplified Staffing, Inc., the newest staffing firm in Janesville, is now seeking a well-qualified Registered Dietitian to work part-time in Madison.
The selected candidate will work approximately 4-9 hours per week with excellent wages, as needed based on appointment and nutrition education class schedules, and will report to the Corporate Wellness Coordinator and Health & Wellness Manager.
One-on-one duties include performing one-on-one advisement sessions regarding nutrition, eating behavior and weight management. Provide individuals with dietary recommendations. Assess individuals' general health status; interests and needs based on stage of change, level of motivation, level of knowledge and current behaviors. Assist individuals in creating attainable goals, overcoming barriers, setting up social support and resources, and planning for chance of relapse. Refer individuals to worksite, health insurance, employee assistance provider or other healthcare or community resources, as needed. Follow-up with individuals as needed to assess change over time.
Group duties include teaching "Food Fitness" or other related nutrition education classes which focus on nutrition and weight management.
Administrative duties include maintaining a log of clients to submit a monthly report. Attend monthly wellness advisor team meetings. Attend other meetings as needed. Create or revise current the nutrition education class curriculum and other resources as needed.
